Jewelry Warranty Coverage
GLD’s warrants all Gold Plated and Vermeil products against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for the lifetime of the customer.
This warranty does not cover:
- excessive wear
- lack of care
Watch Warranty Coverage
All Era Watches come standard with a 1-Year warranty. A 2-Year warranty is available for purchase at the price of $99 USD.
Our warranty covers against defects in material or workmanship one year from the date of purchase. A dated sales receipt must be included to show your product was purchased within the warranty period.
- The hands, dial and watch movement are the only components covered under this warranty.
- If the watch proves to be defective in material or workmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge at the discretion of the merchant.
This warranty does not cover:
- battery, case, stones, strap, or bracelet
- damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents, or normal wear and tear
This FREE warranty is voided if the watch has been damaged by accident, negligence, unauthorized service, or other factors not due to defects in material or workmanship. A $49 USD repair fee will be invoiced.
Watch Extended Service Plan
The GLD Extended Service Plan (ESP) is an extension to the standard warranty which is already included with your watch purchase. This option will extend warranty coverage by one year, in addition to your original term of coverage. This warranty extension can only be added within 30 days of the original purchase date.
In addition to the standard policy, this warranty offers:
- (1) Additional year of coverage
- 1-Time missing stone replacement

How does the lifetime guarantee work?
GLD is committed to providing the highest standard of jewelry – which is why we offer a Lifetime Guarantee for all purchases of Gold Plated/Vermeil jewelry. If your product is damaged, it fades or stops working under normal wear, this guarantee entitles you to a one-time replacement for the piece. If for any reason we no longer carry the item, you are permitted to exchange your piece for another of equal or lesser value. This Warranty is voided on any user damage issues (i.e: scratches, accidental breakage, water damage, etc.). A Shipping and Handling fee of $19.99 will be charged for all Warranty Replacements.
During these warranty periods, if a defect arises in the product and it is deemed by GLD to be a manufacturer's defect, follow the instructions for returning the product.
GLD will, at its option, to the extent permitted by law, either
- repair the product using new or refurbished parts
- replace the product with a new product that is equivalent to the product that is to be replaced
- refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the product
GLD shall have no obligation to repair, replace, or refund until the defective product is returned to GLD. A replacement product assumes the remaining warranty of the original product. When a refund is given, the returned product becomes GLD’s property.
Due to the high value of Solid Gold and diamond jewelry these pieces are marked down on on an individual basis, therefore cannot be included in promotions or sales.
Each piece will be marked down individually to get you the best price possible. Solid Gold products are made to order and are not refundable. Please note that diamond pieces are excluded from the warranty as they are individually crafted and inspected for perfection.

Exclusions and Limitations
This Limited Warranty applies only to solid gold and vermeil jewelry products manufactured by GLD. This Limited Warranty does not apply to damage caused by
- use of non-GLD products
Do not expose your GLD products to harsh chemicals or environments, as they can alter the appearance of the product. These include, but are not limited to:
- liquid silver polish
- hot tubs
- salt water
Do not sleep in the jewelry and watches. Please refer to the cleaning and care instructions for additional information on caring for and protecting your GLD product. Failure to follow these instructions may constitute abuse, misuse, or misapplication of your GLD product.
This limited warranty and the remedies set forth above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether oral or written, express or implied. To the extent permitted by law, GLD specifically disclaims any and all statutory or implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and warranties against hidden or latent defects.
If GLD cannot lawfully disclaim implied warranties under this limited warranty, all such warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the duration of this limited warranty. GLD is not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition or under any other legal theory. No GLD retailer, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to this limited warranty.
Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusions and limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. To the extent that such rights cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, this Limited Warranty does not affect such rights.
